I Remember... the Alamo (Drafthouse)

I Remember... the Alamo (Drafthouse)

So I recently celebrated the 10th anniversary of something I never once expected would be something worth celebrating - the first time I was ever kicked out of a movie theater. Now to most people, being kicked out of a theater would likely be a source of embarrassment, or at least something to be angry about. Cuz that would be a normal reaction. Being reprimanded sucks. Nobody enjoys it, well, to normal people anyway. But to me? Nah, I'll just blog about it.

  • The date: August 23rd, 2013
  • The theater: The Alamo Drafthouse Cinema Ritz (Austin, TX)
  • The movie: The World's End

The date is fairly insignificant, but both the movie and theater itself is the whole reason for this post that you are reading right now. So sit back, kick your feet up and enjoy this 100% historically accurate tale - but definitely NO TEXTING!

Cheers to you Alamo Drafthouse Ritz, thanks for the memories and forever RIP

Vertigo screening - Schadenfreude is real (no word for it in english). America's Funniest Home Videos - when dads get kicked in the nards (oh yeah, shout out to the Alamo drafthouse for bringing The Monster Squad back from the dead.

Here's me meeting the cast of the film. At guess where - the Alamo Drafthouse.
